Natural Cure for Head Lice

Are you looking for information about natural cures for head lice? Head lice is often found in the hair of children. They are not particularly dangerous, but they are annoying and bothersome. Hand Pick The Lice
This is definitely not the easiest or fastest remedy, but you won’t need to use any products. It simply involves using some tweezers and a lice comb to remove the lice and / or eggs. You may have to repeat the process for a few days in order to get all of the lice. You have to make sure that you remove all of the lice eggs or they will hatch and the problem will start all over again.

Smother The Lice
Use a thick substance such as Vaseline or olive oil to smother the lice. Rub it into the hair and scalp and then cover the head with a shower cap and wear it overnight. Wash the hair thoroughly the next morning. You may have to wash the hair several times to remove everything.

Tee Tree Oil
Another popular home remedy is to rub tea tree oil into the scalp and hair. You can also had several drops to your regular shampoo and wash the hair 2 to 3 times a day for a week.

Vinegar
Rinse the scalp and hair with vinegar. You may have to leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Simply pour it on the scalp and hair and then wrap the hair with a towel. Be sure to wash the towel thoroughly to make sure you don’t spread the lice to other areas of your home.
